50 League Games and 2 Weeks In League Minimum To Apply
Straightshots Tournament Directors are leaders and therefore must exhibit leadership abilities,
consistent with punctuality, accuracy, level headedness, discipline and commitment.
If you think that you have what it takes to perform these duties then you are encouraged to submit an application.
ALL applications will be treated on their merits and absolutely no favoritism will be allowed to enter into any adjudication.
Any rejected application will be answered with a full explanation as to why it has been rejected.
Please read the following carefully before submitting an application, Failer to comply to the following may result in you being removed from TD.

| Lobby Monitoring | Tourney Minimums | TD's and HTD's need to monitor the lobby. If you see someone breaking the rules please issue a polite warning. If the user continues to break the rules, please screen shot it and contact an Admin or HTD for further action. TDs and HTDs are not to argue in the lobby over any issues that have arised, if you do you also risk being boxed, repeated offences will lose you you staff postion. | HTDs and TDs WEEKLY minimums are 5. We don't believe that we're asking too much, We know that things come up and sometimes you may not be able to make your minimums, If you go without making any trny's after 7 days you will be sent a 1st and 2nd warning. If you have a problem it is YOUR responsibility to get a hold of an Admin If you dont let us know, you will be removed after 3rd warning! If you're a HTD you will be demoted then after 14 days removed. Any TD that hits 30+ days unhosted will automatically be removed unless prior contact has been made with a valid reason |
| Weekly Specials | Profesionalism | Anyone hosting a weekly special needs to have them on calendar by monday morning. That way everyone will be able to see time And if you can't be here someone else can run it for you, You can make them for the whole month if its easier for you, Just please make them & have them on calendar. | You are representatives and examples of how we want members to behave, As such we DON'T want to see td's or htd's arguing in lobby, Swearing, using caps when its not to do with tournament, etc. If we see this happening you will be warned, vacationed and removed if it continues. We also expect you to show good sportsmanship at all times. This means saying GL and GG during tournaments and league play |
| Tourney Hosting | Caps In Lobby | Tournament spams are to be 4 lines MAX,
and must have jump, time, type, bux entry fee
Trnys can be hosted at HQ tables, or from lobby (sharing allowed).
If sharing lobby, please have members report with TD name [ ie. ??? won/loss vs ??? ( TD Name ) ]. Tourneys are NEVER to be cancelled without an Admin's approval, please move it to another time. |
Caps are for hosting business only. If you are hosting and chatting please turn caps off when chatting in general. Caps are used so players can find what you are saying easily And know whats going on with the tourney they are playing in. |
| Time Off Request | Authorized League Names | If you will be away for more then 7 days Please contact an Admin To put you on vacation And let them know when you will be back. Htd's will be advised if they can take you off vacation. Vacation is a max of 30 days - after 30 days you will be taken off vacation and expected to start hosting your min again. If you are still unhosted after a week of being taken of vacation, you will be automatically removed from TD. | If anyone joins a trny with an ID deemed unsuitable for the league, you are to polietly explain to them that their id is unsuitable for the league and that they may not participate in any trnys until ID has been changed. You are with in your rights to remove them from your trny in this case. |
| Tourney Timers | Breaking | Timers are 5 min's in normal rounds And are 10 min's for finals NO EXCEPTIONS If a player returns just as the timer expired (and was announced in lobby), then it is up to their opponant to whether they play or not | The cue ball must be 'visually' moved on break, If the 8 goes in on break, its an automatic rerack. Players may not use ball in hand after the break when you sink both solid & stripes. It is your right as TD to demand a game reracked if any of these rules are broken |
| Yahoo Glitches | Coaching | Yahoo glitches are part of the game. We play through them. If a player is glitched 3 times in a tournament and you are called in, you may decide at you discression whether the match needs to be restarted or not. If it is not addressed until game is completed then the result stays. | Coaching is not permitted in any tourney game. This includes partners in a 2v2. Members using coaching are to be DQ'ed from thier tournament game. |
| Tourneys and Rules | Accusations | All Tourney rules are located visably on the main league page. Upon being accepted for TD, you will be emailed a personalised welcome email containing HTML codes for you to copy and paste for your league page. Please make sure these rules are posted on your tourney page in the 'RULES' link. | If a member accuses another of auto aim, and you see it firsthand, or the player can show you proof, you may disqualify the player from your tournament. Please also send a screen shot of this to the admin team so we can keep track of problem players, thankyou. |
| Tournament Delays | Forfieting | If a player is repeatedly holding up your tournaments due to playing in too many, please remind them that they may not enter more than they can keep up with. If they fail to take notice of your warning, please let an admin know so we can take further action. | If a player has force forfieted another player, (And proof can be shown) The offending player is to be remove from tournament, and proof sent to admin for further action. |
