In red ball last you must sink your red ball last, before you go for the 8

If you sink your red ball while you have other balls from your set on the table you lose the game and must forfeit to give your opponent the win

If you sink your opponents red ball at any time you lose and must cancel the game.

If you have 1 ball left on the table before the red and you combo them and they both pot,
As long as the red ball falls last, it counts as rbl and you may carry on.
If the red ball shows as potted first before your last ball then you must forfiet game and you lose.

Play on rated or unrated protected tables (it is the inviters choice to whether the table is rated or unrated)
