Slaughter is a 1v1v1 format tournament. Each player has three lives to begin with, and the aim is to be the only one with any lives left.
This is the procedure for a break:
The player at the top of the list on the standings page takes the seat and breaks:
If the player sinks a coloured ball then the players turn is over
If the player scratches then the player loses 1 life and the players turn is over
If the player does not sink a ball or scratch the player does not lose a life and has another shot
This is the procedure for a normal shot:
The player sits and takes one shot:
If the player sinks a coloured ball the player stands and it is the next players turn
If the player scratches but sinks a ball the player loses 1 life
If the player scratches and does not sink a coloured ball the player loses 2 lives
All games are to be played on protected training tables
You can sink any ball you like, even the black
Following a scratch the player has ball in hand and can place the cueball anywhere, the cueball must not be moved at any other time
If all of the balls are sunk the table is reset and play continues
The last player with one or more lives is the winner
The standard set of StraightShots rules applies during this tournament
